MAXIM ULTRA Character Intros: Alesha Cabal
Stana Katic, who has no connection to Maxim Ultra outside my imagination.
ALESHA CABAL - Born on the planet Vale, Alesha Cabal has been on her own her entire life. As a teenager, she fell in with an information broker named Carfen, who became something of a mentor to Alesha. After working with Carfen for several years, she literally ran into Maxim Ultra when they were both seventeen. Though their romantic relationship has always been on-again/off-again, their partnership has endured. They’ve been there for each other through all sorts of victories and calamities. So, when Max left to follow Sierra Numani and Kalen Vandeir on a hunt for the fabled Dalian’s Bounty, Alesha was, to put it mildly, more than a little miffed. Not because another woman had entered Max’s life, but because he shunted aside their years of history without too much thought about it.
Will Alesha welcome Max back with open arms? Or, will she kick him out of an airlock the first chance she gets?
Honestly, the image I have of Alesha in my mind doesn’t match any one woman in particular, but Stana Katic comes the closest to embodying the toughest gal in the galaxy. Katic has the look and the no-nonsense attitude to play Alesha, so she’d be a great fit. However, the closest visual representation I’ve seen of the Alesha I have in my mind is the below picture of Catwoman by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, who has been killing it with his Catwoman covers this last year.
Who knew that Selina Kyle would be the perfect Alesha?
