MAXIM ULTRA Character Intros: Sierra Numani

SIERRA NUMANI - Sierra first came to Maxim Ultra as a client. She was a rich girl living a carefree life until her brother was murdered by some dangerous people with whom he’d gotten involved. She wanted Max to help her track them down and bring them to justice. Of course, Sierra’s version of justice and Max’s were not the same and she killed her brother’s killers in grotesque fashion. The lasting damage from that job warped Sierra and she turned away from her privileged life to one of crime and danger.

When she returned to recruit Max for the Dalian’s Bounty job, she convinced him that the treasure wasn’t just a myth and that his cut of the profits would more than settle his debts. There was also an edge to her now that didn’t exist when they’d first met. After the job fell apart, Max made it his mission to bring Sierra in, hoping it would protect him from the law and alleviate his guilt.

As the novel beings, Max is on the hunt, but will Sierra slip away or convince him again to go against his better judgment?

For Sierra, I needed an actress who was not only beautiful, but could also play feisty and crazy. Isla Fisher has all of that. She can totally flip the switch when she needs to and is believable in both states of mind. She’d be an excellent Sierra.
